Tauletha Chaffin

Licensed Zumba Instructor Tauletha ChaffinTauletha Chaffin has been a Licensed Zumba instructor since Feburary 2009 and was trained by Beto Perez, founder of Zumba Fitness. During her journey with Zumba Fitness, Tauletha has lost and kept off 106 lbs thanks to the program. She is a featured testimonial on the international Zumba Fitness infomercial seen on television all over the world. She can be seen on QVC Shopping network from time to time promoting the Zumba Exhilarate DVD Set. You can also catch her on the “Fitness Concert” DVD in that set. Tauletha’s goal is to make exercise fun, and not a dreaded nesessity. “It is possible to smile and sweat at the same time!” Tauletha is also licensed in Zumba Toning, Aqua Zumba and Zumbatomic (Kids). She is married to Jeff Chaffin and Mommy to her twins, Max and Addison.

 

Jason Gladwell

Jason Gladwell Director of Athletic Development at Power UP has 14 years of personal training experience. He received a BA in Sports management from Glenville State College. Where he also, played defensive back for the GSC football team. Jason, continued his education with a masters degree in Exercise Science from Marshall University. He is CSCS certified.  Jason specializes in speed and strength, sport specific training, speed/agility technique training ,and High intensity interval training (HIIT). He is responsible for assisting the Power UP athletes to become faster, stronger, and more agile while also building character. Jason instills the Power Up training physiology by property implementing and teaching a healthy life style.

 

Michelle Coffman

Personal Trainer Michelle Coffman Michelle Coffman was born and raised in the Charleston, WV area. In 1997 Michelle graduated from Mountain State School of Massage in WV and became a nationally certified, licensed massage therapist. Since that time Michelle has worked as a full time massage therapist in medical, wellness and spa
settings and currently maintains a private practice. Michelle provides a clinical approach to massage therapy since completing advanced training in Myofascial Release & Orthopedic massage.

In 2009 Michelle joined the faculty at the Mountain State School of Massage where she continues to teach Deep Tissue Massage, Neuromuscular Therapy, Integrative Massage, and Aromatherapy & supervises the Student Clinic. In 2010 Lolita Knight selected Michelle to be one of her few certified instructors to carry on her continuing education courses as she moves into retirement.

Michelle currently offers NCBTMB approved continuing education courses around the country & customized massage sessions by appointment in Fijian Barefoot Massage, Relaxing Fiji Island Massage, Chinese Facial Massage, Ayreuvedic Head Massage, Aromatic Hot Stone Massage, Essential Oils & Aromatherapy Massage, Raindrop Balancing Massage, Chinese Moving Cups Massage & Clinical Deep Tissue Massage. Joanie Coley

Joanie has been a business owner for over 20 years and is passionate about her work, improving the goals, confidence, self-esteem and overall healthy lifestyle for each and every one of her clients. Joanie is very enthusiastic about helping people of all ages achieve their fitness goals and improve their health through proper exercise and nutrition. She believes that “health” is a combination of the  physical, mental, emotional and spiritual elements; and when properly balanced provide the foundation of a quality and fulfilling life. Joe Doeffinger

Joe Doeffinger was born in Charleston, WV, but grew up in Point Pleasant, WV. Joe played varsity soccer and basketball at Point Pleasant High School.

He currently resides in Huntington, WV while attending Marshall University majoring in Geology. While in college, Joe has been active in community league soccer and volleyball.

Joe is a certified lifeguard and a certified pool operator. He has managed the Point Pleasant City Pool and the children’s and adult’s swim activities there for many years.

Joe began training for triathlons in 2010. He completed his first triathlon in WV in 2011. In the spring of 2012 he had the honor of being invited to participate in the Aquaphor New York City Olympic Triathlon. The NephCure Foundation sponsored Joe in the triathlon. NephCure is an organization dedicated to funding research, seeking the cause, the cure and effective treatment for FSGS and Nephrotic Syndrome.

This was Joe’s first Olympic triathlon, and over 3,000 men and women participated in the triathlon. Joe placed in the top 10% of his age bracket for men.
NephCure has just invited Joe to again be a Nephlete in the 2013 New York City Triathlon.

Joe has also competed in triathlons in WV and Ohio. He has medaled in first and second place in his age group in various Ohio triathlons.

Joe is a certified Spin Instructor. He received his certification from Mad Dogg Athletics, Inc. (MDA).
Joe will be a Spin Class instructor for Power Up. He will also assist in the Triple Threat Class at Power Up.

Joe is devoted to a healthy well being through exercise and proper nutrition.
